登り窯で焼成した、いかにも唐津焼らしい抹茶盌です。
片身替りと言って、窯の雰囲気が不安定な場所にのみ出現する、片面と片面が違う焼き色をしている貴重なものです。
飛雁（ひがん）の絵模様は古唐津にもよく見られる、鳥が飛んでいるところを意匠化したもの。
正面の釉垂れの所が縮れ、景色を織り成します。
小振りで手に馴染む作行きとなりました。

This is a typical Karatsu ware matcha bowl.
Upon closer inspection, the surface color of the vessel shows irregular variations.
This is called Katami-gawari, an accidental change created by the fire within the kiln. It cannot be intentionally produced, making it a precious feature.
The design depicts flying geese.
This motif, often seen in ancient Karatsu ware, stylizes birds in flight.
This is a simple yet charming matcha bowl.
