唐津焼は朝鮮陶。即ち、朝鮮半島から渡ってきた焼き物です。
その中で井戸茶盌は最も格が高い、言わば朝鮮陶の王様とも言える茶盌です。
その名品の写しの大井戸茶盌。
枇杷色、轆轤(ろくろ)目や見込みの目跡、高台の梅花皮(かいらぎ/釉薬の縮れのこと)などの条件を満たし、作品として出せる物はなかなかできません。
ぬくもりのある枇杷色に抹茶が映えます。

The oo-ido matcha bowl is known for its distinct features, such as its biwa color, kairagi (cracked texture of glaze that has not fully melted), meato (unglazed spots left from little balls of clay used to stack bowls when firing), and rokurome (spiral marks that were made as the piece was thrown on the wheel). The beauty of these bowls are found in its imperfections such as these.
